Salieu Drammeh spent his early years shuttling between Gambia and Denmark, moving to the country at the age of 13 before working his way up through the youth ranks at Brøndby IF, Hellerup IK and Vejle BK, picking up several youth cup honours along the way at Brøndby. His senior break came at BK Frem, where he made his professional debut on 2 August 2022 and went on to score 12 goals in 37 appearances for the Danish second-tier side.

That form took him to Norway in January 2025, when he left Frem as a free agent to join Lillestrøm SK. The move paid off quickly: Drammeh helped Lillestrøm win the Norwegian First Division to secure promotion to the Eliteserien, then added a Norwegian Cup triumph in December of that year.

That run of success attracted interest from Belgium, and Drammeh signed for Standard Liège on 15 July 2026, putting pen to paper on a three-year contract running until 2029. The transfer fee was reported at around €2.2 million, with up to €300,000 in add-ons taking the potential total to roughly €2.5 million. He now wears the number 15 shirt for the Belgian Pro League club, the latest step in a path that has taken him from Gambia through three Danish clubs and a title-winning spell in Norway.
