Samy Olivier Chouchane

Samy Chouchane arrived at Dijon in August 2025 on a free transfer after his contract with Brighton & Hove Albion expired. He had joined Brighton in 2020 from AC Boulogne-Billancourt, where his career began with two senior outings, and worked his way through the age groups to 48 appearances for the Under-21s and an Under-17s Premier League Cup win in 2021.

The loan spell that shaped his final season in England came at Northampton Town, where he played 22 League One matches plus cup football before returning to Brighton in March 2025. At Dijon he stepped straight into regular football in National, the third tier, making 29 appearances and scoring once as the club won promotion to Ligue 2. Since that promotion he has made six appearances in the new campaign and already has three goals.

Chouchane holds Tunisian citizenship and has represented the country at Under-20 level, with ten caps and a goal that included a run at the 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup. He was also called up to the senior Tunisia squad in 2023, though he is yet to add a competitive cap at that level.
