Serhii Sydorchuk

Serhii Sydorchuk spent a decade at Dynamo Kyiv, a run that began with a move from Metalurh Zaporizhzhia in December 2012. He had already made 63 appearances and scored four goals for Metalurh before that transfer, breaking through in the Ukrainian Premier League back in 2009.

At Dynamo, Sydorchuk went on to make 327 appearances across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and adding 21 assists. He was handed the captain's armband in September 2017 and wore it until he left the club in August 2023, leading the side in 50 of the 83 European matches he played for Dynamo. Under his captaincy and before it, the club collected three Ukrainian Premier League titles, four Ukrainian Cups and five Ukrainian Super Cups. He was named the league's Player of the Month in October 2021.

After a decade at Dynamo, Sydorchuk joined Westerlo on a free transfer in September 2023, signing a three-year contract.

On the international stage, he made his debut for Ukraine in October 2014 and scored in each of his first two matches, against Belarus and Macedonia. He has featured at three European Championships — 2016, 2020 and 2024 — and captaining Ukraine in 2022. By June 2024 he had earned 62 caps and scored three goals for his country.
