Slobodan Rubežić

Slobodan Rubežić started out in Vojvodina's youth ranks before moving to Čukarički, and it was there that the pattern of his early career took shape: he never made a senior appearance for the club itself, instead building his game away from Belgrade on loan. The first stop was Novi Pazar, where 27 appearances and a goal across the 2019–20 season, followed by a spell at Arda Kardzhali. He returned to Novi Pazar permanently in 2022 and, over the next year and a half, made 46 appearances and scored three goals.

That run earned him a move to Aberdeen in July 2023. He made 57 appearances across the league, Scottish Cup, League Cup and European competition, and scoring in the League Cup. He was not part of Aberdeen's Scottish Cup-winning squad in 2024–25, having already left on loan in February 2025 at Novi Pazar, where he added a further 15 appearances and a goal.

Rubežić has also established himself at international level with Montenegro, debuting in a friendly against Lebanon in October 2023. His full mark on the side came a month later: in a Euro 2024 qualifier against Hungary, he scored in the very first minute, though Montenegro went on to lose the match 3–1. He has since gone on to earn further caps for his country.

He signed for Korona Kielce in August 2025.
