Sofyane Bouzamoucha

Sofyane Bouzamoucha scored a memorable goal for FC Rouen from long range against Red Star on 11 September 2023. It came in a 3-2 loss. He was a defender who scored eight times in his first spell at the club, and that strike is the one that stands out.

He came through the academy at FC Mantois 78 and played in the Coupe Gambardella. In January 2019 he moved to US Orléans and began in the reserves, who played in National 3. He was promoted to the senior side, then in National 1, in March 2020. He signed his first professional contract that June.

Rouen was where he became a regular. He arrived on loan in July 2021, the move was later made permanent, and he stayed until June 2024. In 2023 he won the National 2 title in Group A with the club. Suspension kept him out of the return match against Red Star in February 2024.

Servette in the Swiss Super League followed in July 2024, on a contract running to 2027. He left in January 2025 and on 27 January signed again with Rouen, this time until June 2027. In the 2025/26 season he played 33 league games in National, the French third tier, and scored once.

In July 2026 he joined Farul Constanța on a free transfer, signing until June 2028. His first weeks in the Romanian Superliga have brought eight appearances, with no goals or assists so far.
