Tom Bradshaw

Tom Bradshaw's road to the top of the Championship began a long way from it, at Aberystwyth Town, whose fee on his sale to Shrewsbury Town amounted to £30,000 in training compensation. He established himself in league football at Shrewsbury before a move to Walsall in 2014: 34 league goals in 70 appearances, including a run to the 2014–15 Football League Trophy final. A transfer request followed Walsall's play-off semi-final defeat, and Barnsley took him to Oakwell in 2016.

A loan to Millwall in the second half of the 2018–19 season turned permanent that August in a deal reported to have broken the club's transfer record, with fees quoted between £1m and £1.25m. The move was quickly overshadowed by a knee ligament injury that November, and Bradshaw had to wait until the following August, and a goal against West Brom, to get his run at the Den going again. He found his best form in 2022–23, scoring 17 league goals and taking the EFL Championship Player of the Month award in February 2023 after netting five times that month.

At international level, Bradshaw has represented Wales eight times since making his debut against Ukraine in March 2016. He has experienced injuries at various points, including a hamstring and calf trouble that forced withdrawals from Wales squads.

He returned to Barnsley on loan for the second half of the 2025–26 season, scoring three goals in 19 appearances, before joining Rotherham United on a free transfer, where he took the number 9 shirt.
