Tiago Tomás Palacios

Tiago Tomás Palacios grew up in General Pico and took his first steps in the game at Club Atlético Costa Brava before Talleres de Córdoba signed him in 2019. He made his professional debut for the club in 2022, though first-team chances were limited to around eight appearances before a loan spell reshaped his career.

That loan, to Independiente Rivadavia in January 2024, was where the left-footed centre-back made 16 appearances and established himself as a starter. The performances were enough to draw the attention of Inter Milan, who acquired his sporting rights in August 2024 for a fee of €6.5 million plus a further €3–5 million in add-ons, split between Talleres and Independiente Rivadavia.

Palacios joined Estudiantes de La Plata on a one-year loan with an option to buy set between €6 million and €7 million in January 2026. By September 2026 he had made 27 appearances for the club.

At international level, Palacios has represented Argentina's under-20 side on five occasions, including a spell at the 2022 South American Games. He received his first call-up to the senior national team in March 2026 for friendlies against Mauritania and Zambia, though he did not feature in either match.
