On 19 January 2026, in the Copa Argentina round of 32 against Ituzaingó, he came on for Facundo Rodríguez in the second half as Estudiantes de La Plata won 4-0, capping a path that began when he joined the club's academy at the age of twelve. He had signed his first professional contract in November 2023 and moved up to the senior squad in March 2024, but almost two years passed between that step and his first appearance in the first team.

By September 2026 he had added three league appearances to that solitary cup outing, still without a goal, while continuing to be part of an Estudiantes squad that collected a run of trophies: the Copa de la Liga Profesional and Trofeo de Campeones in 2024, another Trofeo de Campeones in 2025, and the 2025 Torneo Clausura, sealed on penalties against Racing Club after a goalless draw. He was not among those making competitive league appearances during those title-winning campaigns.

Pierani was part of the Argentina under-17 side that finished runner-up at the 2023 South American Championship, then stepped up to the under-20 team in 2025 as a regular starter. He played through Argentina's run to the final of the South American U-20 Championship and on to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, where a knee sprain suffered in the quarter-final win over Mexico kept him out of the semi-final against Colombia. Argentina reached the final without him fully fit, losing to Morocco to take the silver medal.
