Vojtěch Smrž

In April 2023, Vojtěch Smrž was named the "Přihraj: Král asistencí" (Assist King) of the Fortuna Liga for rounds 21 to 25. In that stretch he provided three assists and created five goal-scoring chances for FC Hradec Králové, the club he had joined as a free agent the previous July.

The route there began in the youth academy of MFK Karviná. He made his senior debut for the club in November 2016 and went on to play 78 league matches for them, scoring five goals. He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Mladá Boleslav. In his first season at Hradec Králové he made 29 appearances, scored twice and set up four goals.

In August 2023 he moved to Bohemians 1905, again on a free transfer, and signed a contract running until 30 June 2028. By the end of the 2023/24 season he had passed 190 Czech First League appearances, with nine goals and eight assists across his spells at Karviná, Mladá Boleslav, Hradec Králové and Bohemians.

His time at Bohemians was interrupted in 2024, when he tested positive for a THC metabolite. He was first suspended for two years, but the ban was cut on appeal to three months. Once the final ruling was issued, he went back to training with the first team on 2 October 2025.

A right-footed central midfielder, he is 186 cm tall and weighs 89 kg.
