Viljar Helland Vevatne

Viljar Vevatne has won the Norwegian league's second tier, the Norwegian Cup and the Eliteserien with the same club, Viking, the team he first joined as a boy.

He came through Viking's youth system from 2006 to 2014 but did not break into the senior side there. In early 2014 he left on a free transfer for Bryne FK, where he played until 2015. That summer Brann signed him for a reported fee of about 400,000 kroner. His time in Bergen lasted little more than a year: on 25 July 2016 he moved to Sandnes Ulf, in a deal reported as a sale at a loss for Brann.

On 12 January 2018 he returned to Viking as a free agent, signing a three-year contract. Viking won the First Division in 2018, and Vevatne was part of that team. A year later they lifted the Norwegian Cup.

The Eliteserien title followed in 2025.

Vevatne is left-footed. He played for Norway at youth level, winning five caps for the under-18s in 2012 and seven for the under-19s in 2013. He has not been capped by the senior national team.
