Wojciech Urbański grew up playing for KS Tymbark and Turbacz Mszana Dolna before Wisła Kraków's academy took him on in 2018, and he stayed there until 2023. That summer he moved to Legia Warszawa, initially assigned to the reserve side, Legia Warszawa II, where he made 16–18 appearances in the third-tier III liga and scored twice.

The step up came in 2024, when he was promoted to the senior squad. His first-team debut arrived on 10 March 2024 against Widzew Łódź, and he opened his account for the club on 18 August 2024 against Radomiak Radom. Since then he has made around 47 appearances and four goals to his name, including outings in the UEFA Europa Conference League. The club rewarded that progress with a contract extension running until the end of 2028.

Urbański has moved steadily through Poland's youth ranks, collecting caps at under-14, under-18, under-19, under-20 and under-21 level. His under-20 debut in September 2024 also brought a goal, and he made his bow for the under-21s in 2025. A first senior call-up has yet to follow.

The move from Wisła Kraków to Legia carried no disclosed fee, in line with the usual terms for academy graduates switching clubs, and it opened the door to the first-team football that has followed.
