About the player
Yacine Bourhane has scored once for the Comoros, and it was the only goal in a 1–0 win over Madagascar in 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying on 18 November 2024. The left-footed midfielder was born in Noisy-le-Grand, France, and made his debut for the Comoros against Libya on 11 October 2020. He has since won 35 caps. Head coach Stéphane Cusin included him in the final 26-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, announced on 11 December 2025.
His club career began in the French system. He left the youth ranks of US Torcy for the academy at Chamois Niortais, and made his Ligue 2 debut for Niort on 16 October 2017.
When his contract ran out in 2021 he moved to the Netherlands and joined Go Ahead Eagles on a free transfer. He played four league games there. In January 2022 he signed for Esbjerg fB in Denmark, again on a free transfer, and stayed until 2025. He played 89 league matches for the club and scored six goals. In 2023–24 Esbjerg won the Danish 2nd Division, and Bourhane was part of that side.
In July 2025 he joined Aris Limassol in Cyprus. He made 24 league appearances, 28 in all competitions, and provided two assists. The club finished sixth in the Cypriot First Division and went out to AEK Athens in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. He left by mutual consent in July 2026. On 14 July he signed for the Polish club Motor Lublin on a free transfer, on a contract until mid-2028.
