Bethesda SC's first senior team entered USL League Two for the 2026 season, after the move was announced in October 2025. The ground holds 5,000, 3,200 of them on hard seats.

The academy's output is what the club is known for. Joe Gyau went from Bethesda to Borussia Dortmund and later played for New York Red Bulls and D.C. United. Gedion Zelalem went through Arsenal, AC Milan and Seattle Sounders. Andi Sullivan reached the United States women's national team after Washington Spirit, and Jeremy Ebobisse played for San Jose Earthquakes and New York Red Bulls.

In youth competition the club has won five USL Youth titles, known before the rebrand as the Super Y League. It joined that competition in 2017. Two of the five came in 2021, and one, the Under-14 boys' title, in 2019.
