Patuxent

The home ground is a high school stadium in Huntingtown, not in Leonardtown, the Maryland town whose name the club carries. It holds 1,500 people, and Patuxent Football Athletics does not play every home game there. St. Mary's Ryken High School Stadium in Leonardtown takes some fixtures and events, so the club's matches move between two school grounds.

That fits how the club began. It was set up in 2018 as a development academy for players aged 13 to 19. Myron Garnes is Technical Director and Head Coach.

Some of the players the academy has produced have gone on to professional football. Goalkeeper Hillary Beall played for Racing Louisville FC in the National Women's Soccer League. Savannah Hersh came through Howard University and signed with Vestri FC in Iceland. Striker Sulahmana "Suli" Bah played for Zurrieq FC in Malta.

The league table has been harder. Patuxent has won no league or cup titles in USL League Two, and in the 2026 season it was recorded with the longest winless and losing runs in the league, 14 games each. Those runs came in the Chesapeake Division, where the nearest rival is Annapolis Blues FC.
