Glostrup

The two clubs shared a shirt for six years under the name Boldklubberne Glostrup Albertslund, and when that arrangement ended on 30 June 2015 and Glostrup FK went back to standing on its own, the split left the sort of local familiarity that outlasts a merger.

The club being separated is itself a fairly recent state of affairs. What plays today traces back to Arbejdernes Idræts Klub Glostrup, formed on 4 May 1932, renamed IF 32 Glostrup in 1963, then folded together with Glostrup IC and Hvissinge FC — first as an umbrella body from 2001, then as a full legal merger in 2003 — before the Albertslund years intervened and ended.

Little of that history has come with silverware. The one league title of note belongs to the 2022-23 season, when Glostrup won the Sjællandsserien and went up to the Danmarksserien, the fourth tier, where they were still playing in 2025-26. Their predecessor club had done the same three decades earlier, winning the same competition in 1991-92. The deeper cup runs sit further back still: IF 32 Glostrup beat AGF and Ølstykke on the way to the fifth round of the Danish Cup in 1999-2000.

Matches are played at Glostrup Idrætspark, holding 4,000, in blue and white. No single name from that history stands taller than the rest of the club's decades.
