Tårnby FF

Niklas Bendtner pulled on a Tårnby FF shirt in August 2020 — not for the first team, but for the veterans. His first touches of the game came a few streets away, at Tårnby Boldklub.

On 29 October 2004 a group of its members walked out, unhappy that the board had put its energy into youth football and the Amager United project while the adult lower-league sides were left to fend for themselves. The new club's crest still carries the year 2005, when Tårnby commune and the KBU football union formally recognised it, though the split itself is dated a year earlier.

There was no ground waiting for them. It later moved to Vestamager Idrætsanlæg, also called the Uganda Ground, where it still plays in gold and black.

Its best run in the DBU Pokalen came in 2009/10, when wins over AB Tårnby and Avarta reached the third round before the side went out 4-5 to AIK 65 Strøby.
