Two seasons in the top flight is the whole of Vanløse's time at the summit; 23 in the second tier say more about where the club has actually lived. The exception came in the spring of 1974, when Vanløse beat Odense BK 5–2 in the Danish Cup final.
Preben Elkjær came through here before Denmark's great side of the 1980s took shape around him.
The white shirts and black shorts have not changed since 1921.
These days the club plays in the 3rd Division, the fourth tier, and the fixture that still fills the ground is the meeting with Brønshøj Boldklub , two neighbouring districts a short walk apart, known locally as the north-west Copenhagen derby.
