Granadilla Tenerife Women

Estadio Francisco Suárez in Granadilla de Abona holds 2,500, and the club was built to that scale. Founded in 2013 as UD Granadilla Tenerife Sur, it won Group VI of the Segunda División Femenina in its first season, 2013–14. It went up to the top flight in 2015 by finishing as runners-up in the group and winning the promotion playoffs.

Under Toni Ayala the team, nicknamed Las guerreras, reached the semi-finals of the Copa de la Reina in both 2016–17 and 2017–18. The Copa de Canarias had already come its way in those early years. The local rival is UD Tacuense, and the meeting is billed as the Derbi Tinerfeño.

The ground has since shaped the club's history more than once. Stadium problems forced a move in September 2023, and the club played as UD Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa until June 2025. It then merged with the men's club, became CD Tenerife Femenino and took the main CD Tenerife badge and the white and blue of the blanquiazul. The record attendance, 11,647, came against FC Barcelona on 10 May 2026, more than four times what Granadilla de Abona can seat.

The name that lasted longest, Granadilla Tenerife Egatesa, from 2013 until September 2023, was that of a municipality in the south of the island. The club's first name, Granadilla Tenerife Sur, put the same place on its shirts.
