Alfredo Ulloa filled that gap in 2010.

That naming decision eventually put Madrid CFF in direct conflict with Real Madrid Women, formerly CD Tacón. The dispute went as far as a legal fight over the use of the name and the initials "MCF", which Madrid CFF won in 2022.

Promotion carried the club away from home for a spell: after going up in 2018, Madrid CFF played its league matches at the Estadio Matapiñonera in San Sebastián de los Reyes before returning to the Estadio Fernando Torres in Fuenlabrada for the 2024–25 season. Two Segunda División Femenina titles, in 2014–15 and 2016–17, mark the club's rise, and a run to the semi-finals of the Copa de la Reina in 2020–21 remains its deepest cup run. Paola Ulloa has captained the side from goal.

Madrid CFF stayed up regardless, finishing the 2024–25 season tenth, and the task now is simply to keep that place in the division from a ground the club can again call its own.
