Holešov

SFK ELKO Holešov spent one season above the regional game it has otherwise always occupied. The 2015/16 title in the Zlín Region Championship sent the club up to Divize D, the fourth tier, and by the end of 2016/17 it was back down again — a single campaign that stands as the club's only entry in the record books above county level.

The club has worn its current name since 2003, when SK Holešov merged with TJ Slavoj Všetuly to form SFK ELKO Holešov; under earlier names — SK Holešov, TJ Holešov, FK Holešov — it had already been playing since 1905.

Its best-known product left before any of that. Zdeněk Grygera, born in nearby Přílepy in 1980, started out at SK Holešov and was gone by seventeen, first to Zlín and Drnovice, then to Sparta Prague, where he won two league titles, and on to Ajax, Juventus and Fulham. He won the European Under-21 Championship in 2002 and reached the semi-finals of Euro 2004 with the Czech Republic, for whom he played 65 times. He came home afterwards and has since worked in the running of both SFK ELKO Holešov and FC Zlín.

Local fixtures carry more weight than the honours list. Against TJ Skaštice the results have swung both ways — a 3:1 win in April 2023, a 1:1 draw in October 2024 — while a meeting with SK HS Kroměříž B in August 2025 also finished level, 1:1. None of these carries official derby status; the club has never fixed on a single rival.

Matches are played in black and white at Stadion Střelnice, which holds 2,500.
