Iváncsa

A schoolteacher, István Kovács, started the football club in Iváncsa in 1920. It was first called Iváncsai SE. It then became the Iváncsai Levente Egyesület in 1926, and it did not take the name Iváncsa KSE again until 2011.

The first kits were second-hand. They came from MTK Budapest and were blue and white, so blue and white is what the village team wore. The switch to red and white came in 1983 and has lasted since.

For most of its life the club stayed in the county leagues. It won the Fejér County Second Division in 1964 and again in 1972, and after 2011 it took the First Division five times. It then moved up into the national system, and in 2020–21 it won the NB III Central Group. That title carried the right to promotion to NB II, and the club turned it down because of money and the state of its infrastructure. The ground, the Károlyi István Sporttelep, holds 750.

The Hungarian Cup tie of 19 October 2022 is what people outside Iváncsa remember. In the Round of 32 the third-tier side met Ferencvárosi TC, who were the reigning champions and the cup holders. Iváncsa won 3–2 after extra time. Some of the local press called it a "Fejér county derby", although the two clubs have no rivalry to speak of. Iváncsa went on to the last sixteen, where Budafok knocked them out. That season they also won the NB III Central Group for a second time.

Their more familiar opponent is FC Nagykanizsa in the NB III Southwest group. Nagykanizsa's coach has described it as an "old great rivalry", one that has been decided by championship titles. Two group titles have still not taken Iváncsa above the third tier, since they refused the promotion in 2021 and have not played in NB II.
