Kotwica Kórnik

Six hundred and fifty seats fit inside the Stadion Miejski w Kórniku, part of the KCRiS OAZA Błonie sports complex on Leśna street. Kotwica Kórnik won the IV Liga Wielkopolska group that season under coach Tomasz Nawrot and went up to the III Liga.

The first came in 1992/93, when Kórnik won the III Liga outright and earned a place in the second tier. The club withdrew before playing a match at that level, dropping back into regional football. IV Liga stability followed, with near-misses in 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/14 before the ground finally gave way in 2024.

The name and colours go back further still. A statute approved on 28 December 1926 formalised a merger between the Harcerski Klub Sportowy, a Scout sports club, and KS Skałka; the anchor in the crest and the name Kotwica came under the patronage of Antoni Pacyński, head of the Kórnik Foundation. Play stopped during the war and resumed in 1947, and for a stretch around 1950 the club operated under the Agricultural Sports Society banner as LZS Kotwica. Green and white have stayed constant throughout, and the supporters go by Kotwiczanie.

In the same 2023/24 season Kotwica reached the semi-final of the Wielkopolska regional Puchar Polski, beating Pogoń Łobżenica on penalties and knocking out Ostrovia 1909 Ostrów Wielkopolski before Unia Swarzędz ended the run 4-1.
