Real Central New Jersey

Real Central New Jersey has spent six seasons in the middle of the USL League Two Mid-Atlantic Division without reaching the playoffs.

The men's team began in 2021, a year after the club was formed, and spent that first season at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor Township. It then moved to Rider University Field in Lawrenceville, which holds about 2,000. The club represents Trenton, but plays home games in neither place. Its rivals are the divisional neighbours Reading United AC, Ocean City Nor'easters and West Chester United; no named derby has grown out of those fixtures.

In 2021 they reached the Metropolitan Conference Final, and in 2022 they won the Mid-Atlantic Conference regular-season title. In 2024 the league named the club its Colonial Division Franchise of the Year, and Brian Thomsen, the women's head coach, was named Coach of the Year.

Stas Korzeniowski, an attacker who played for the club in 2022 and 2023, had been the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year at the University of Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia Union drafted him in 2023.

The men also play in the Eastern Premier Soccer League and the Garden State Soccer League. The League Two playoffs are still out of reach for them.
