West Chester United

The 2025 National Amateur Cup final went to extra time, and West Chester United took it 4-3 against RWB Adria. It was the club's third national amateur title. In 2023 the Hank Steinbrecher Cup final against Ventura County Fusion finished 4-4 and went to penalties, which the Predators won.

The 2015 Werner Fricker Open Cup came first. Between that and 2025 sits a loss in the 2018 National Amateur Cup final to Bavarian SC, and in 2026 the Predators were runners-up again in the Steinbrecher Cup, beaten by Vermont Green FC.

The senior team is younger than the club around it. West Chester United Soccer Club began in 1976 as a youth programme of four teams playing at Hillsdale Elementary School. The side that now competes in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and USL League Two arrived in 2008, as an over-30 squad. A "majors" team followed, and then more youth sides.

Chris Donovan was drafted by Columbus Crew and later played for Philadelphia Union. Dane Jacomen won the League Two Golden Glove and went on to Loudoun United and FC Tulsa.

Reading United is the rival most often named, and the games against it belong to the regional "Keystone" rivalry, a derby with no love lost. The colours are navy blue and gold, though white shirts have been common in recent seasons. Home games are played on the turf of Kildare's Field, part of the West Chester Area Sports Association complex on Westtown Road. It is a community facility, and there is no official seating capacity to quote.
