The Sokil ground in Stryi holds 6,000. Skala 1911 have used it since they were put back together in 2020.

The club was Spartak, then Mashynobudivnyk, then Burovyk; it was Skala again from 1989, then Hazodobuvnyk-Skala, then Hazovyk-Skala after a merger with Hazovyk of Komarno, then Skala-Ekran. In 2009 it withdrew from competition and stopped.

It was champion of Halychyna in 1943 and champion of Lviv Oblast in 1972. It finished sixth in the Ukrainian First League in 1992/93, and that same year reached the last 16 of the Ukrainian Cup, where Dynamo Kyiv ended it. It climbed back into the First League in 2003/04.

Its futsal team took third place in the Lviv regional stage of the Ukrainian second division in 2021/22. The under-15s finished second at the Dobiegniew Cup in 2026.

In 1992 it took Dynamo Kyiv to remove them. In the 2024/25 first round proper, at the last 32, Zorya beat them 6-0.
