The derby against Othellos Athienou has no name of its own.

Spartakos Kitiou spent much of its life in the lower reaches of Cypriot football. Relegation in 2016–17 marked the low point. The 2021–22 season carried them through the STOK Promotion Championship, with Andreas Ttofalis as top scorer and the man who put away the winning goal in the final. Promotion to the Elite Division followed in 2022, then the Cypriot Cup for Third and Fourth Divisions in 2023–24, and in that same season a second-place finish in the Third Division that they turned into promotion through the play-offs — the first time in the club's history it has reached the Second Division.

Underneath the first team, the academy won the Coca-Cola Cup for Small Categories in 2024. Locally, in Larnaca district football, the club's list runs longer still: EPEL Championships in 1996, 2002 and 2020, EPEL Cups either side of those years.
