Uljanik

Elvis Scoria took charge in Pula at a time when the city's old football identity had already been rewritten once — the Uljanik name had spent decades attached to a club that vanished into Istra 1961 in the early 1960s, and it took until November 2003 for a new NK Uljanik to be registered in its own right. Under Scoria that new club reached a Croatian Cup final within months of starting out, losing to Hajduk Split.

The nickname Brodograditelji, the shipbuilders, ties the club directly to the Uljanik yard that once employed much of the city. Games are played at Stadion Veruda, where seating runs to around 2,500 of the ground's total capacity.

ŽNL Istarska in 2011/12, the 2. ŽNL in 2014/15, the 1. ŽNL Istarska in 2016/17. The most recent of these arrived in the 2023/24 season, when Uljanik won the 3. NL – Zapad, the third tier's western group.

Twenty-one years separate that promotion from the November day the club was re-founded.
