Viktoria Plzeň II

The fixture that reserve-team players from Viktoria Plzeň circle on the calendar is the one against SK Petřín Plzeň, a local club from the same city. Both sides call it the Plzeň derby, or the West Bohemian derby, and those who have played in it describe it as fierce.

Viktoria Plzeň II, known as Viktoria Plzeň B or simply Béčko, exists to bridge the gap between youth football and the first team. Its place in the league pyramid changed in the 2019/20 season, when the B-team entered the 3. Liga, the third tier of Czech football, in place of the junior leagues that had been dissolved. It now plays in Group A of that division, the ČFL A.

Reserve sides in the Czech Republic cannot be promoted to the second tier, so a title would not change where they play. The senior side's list of well-known names includes David Limberský, Pavel Horváth, Lukáš Hejda, Matěj Vydra and Michael Krmenčík.

Home games are played at Stadion Luční ulice, which holds about 5,000 spectators. The kit is blue and red, as at the senior club.

Everything here goes back to the senior club, which began as Sportovní klub Viktoria Plzeň on 11 June 1911. The reserve team carries that name and those colours. The senior side is called Viktorka.
