CAN National Women's Cricket Tournament (Nepal) 2022/23

The CAN National Women's Cricket Tournament, officially known as the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament, stands as the premier domestic Twenty20 competition for women in Nepal. Founded in 2015 by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the tournament serves as the top tier of the national cricketing structure. It functions as the primary national championship and acts as a crucial selection platform for the international squad.

The competition features a unique format distinct from franchise-based leagues. Teams represent Nepal's seven provinces alongside departmental entities such as the Armed Police Force Women. The structure typically involves a group stage followed by knockout rounds, including Super Four and semi-final matches. All fixtures are played in the Twenty20 format. There is no promotion or relegation system, as the participating teams remain fixed provincial and departmental clubs throughout the season.

APF Club holds the record for the most titles in the tournament's history. The side secured victories in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and the 2023–24 and 2024–25 seasons. Other champions include Janakpur, which won the inaugural edition in 2015 by defeating APF Club in the final. Koshi Province claimed the title in 2020, while Sudurpashchim Province won in 2023. The competition has retained the "Prime Minister Cup" name since its inception, sponsored by the National Sports Council. It lacks significant renaming and continues to provide a structured domestic pathway for female athletes in a country where the sport is expanding.
