The Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup is a domestic Twenty20 cricket competition organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It was founded in February 2026 for its inaugural edition. The tournament was established as a special domestic alternative following the Bangladesh national team's withdrawal from the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. It serves as a high-profile event featuring specially formed squads composed of national stars and emerging prospects, distinct from the traditional domestic structure.
The competition sits outside the standard pyramid of regional divisional teams, functioning instead as a franchise-style showcase. The 2026 edition featured three teams: Dhumketu XI, Durbar XI, and Duronto XI. The format consisted of a round-robin league stage where each team played two matches, followed by a single final between the top two teams. There was no promotion or relegation, as the teams were ad-hoc squads created specifically for this tournament.
Dhumketu XI, captained by Litton Das, won the inaugural title by defeating Durbar XI (captained by Najmul Hossain Shanto) by 7 runs in the final. The tournament introduced the "Impact Player" rule to the domestic circuit for the first time. It is distinguished from the traditional Bangladesh T20 Cup, which features regional divisions like Dhaka and Chittagong and serves as a long-term developmental platform, whereas the Odommo Cup was a short-duration, single-venue event designed to keep top players match-fit during the international void. The tournament was held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
