The Quadrangular Under-19 Series is an intermittent, invitational cricket tournament organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Rather than a permanent domestic league, it operates as an ad-hoc preparatory event convened irregularly to provide high-level match practice for young Indian cricketers. The tournament typically features the Indian national youth setup, often split into India A and India B representative teams, alongside two visiting international Under-19 national teams such as England or Bangladesh. The format generally consists of a double round-robin group stage where each team plays every other team twice, followed by a final and a third-place playoff. There is no promotion or relegation system, as the series is not part of the domestic pyramid but serves as a selection trial and exposure opportunity.
