The Hundred Men's Competition is a professional domestic cricket tournament in England and Wales, created and governed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Launched in 2021 following a concept proposed in 2016, it operates as an eight-team static franchise model with no promotion or relegation. The format is distinct for its unique 100-ball innings, designed to last approximately two and a half hours. Matches are played in sets of 10 balls, with the fielding team changing ends after each set. Bowlers can deliver either 5 or 10 consecutive balls, with a maximum limit of 20 balls per bowler per match. The season consists of a round-robin league stage where each of the eight teams plays eight matches, including a bonus match against a regional rival. The top three teams advance to Finals Day: the league winners go directly to the final, while the second and third-placed teams play an Eliminator semi-final. Tied knockout matches are decided by a "Super 5" (five balls per team). The competition has a title sponsor: it was known simply as The Hundred from 2021 to 2024, and as the KP Snacks The Hundred from 2025 onwards. In terms of history, MI London (formerly Oval Invincibles) is the most successful team with three titles (2021, 2022, 2023). The current champions are Manchester Super Giants, who won their first title in 2026.
