The Hundred Women's Competition (England) 2022/23

The Hundred Women's Competition is a professional franchise cricket tournament in England and Wales, organized by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). It sits at the top tier of the English domestic cricket pyramid, operating as a standalone franchise league distinct from the county-based structure. The format is unique in cricket, with each team batting for a single innings of 100 balls, which equals 20 five-ball overs. Matches last approximately two and a half hours.

The season consists of a league stage where each of the eight teams plays eight matches: four home and four away. Each side faces every other team once plus a bonus regional rivalry match. The team finishing top of the table advances directly to the final. The second and third-placed teams compete in an Eliminator, which functions as a semi-final, with the winner joining the top team in the final. There is no promotion or relegation; team membership is fixed via a franchise model.

Current women's participants include the Northern Superchargers, Oval Invincibles, Manchester Originals, Welsh Fire, Birmingham Phoenix, and Trent Rockets. The competition features eight city-based franchises in total, including the London Spirit and Southern Brave in the men's division. Notable winners include the Oval Invincibles, who claimed the title in 2021 and 2022, and the Southern Brave in 2023. The Oval Invincibles are the most successful team with two titles. The competition differs from other English domestic competitions through its 100-ball innovation and franchise-based team structure rather than county representation.

The event was proposed in September 2016 and approved by ECB members in April 2017, with the inaugural season taking place in 2021. The competition has no official title sponsor in its name, remaining simply "The Hundred." This distinguishes it from sponsored counterparts like the Vitality Blast.
