The Hundred Women's Competition (England) 2025/26

The Hundred Women's Competition is the premier domestic franchise cricket competition in England and Wales. Launched in 2021 by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), it occupies the top tier of the domestic pyramid for the Twenty20 format. The tournament operates above the regional Charlotte Edwards Cup and relies on a fixed structure of city-based franchises rather than county affiliations.

Eight teams contest the league phase: Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, Trent Rockets, and Welsh Fire. The schedule requires each side to play eight league matches, comprising four home and four away fixtures against every other team once. A regional rivalry match is added to this slate. Player selection follows a central draft system, ensuring parity across the franchises.

The format distinguishes itself with a unique structure. Each team faces a single innings comprising 100 balls, which is divided into 20 overs of five balls. This design aims to keep the duration of the game approximately two hours. The league phase concludes with a Finals Day event. The team finishing first in the standings advances directly to the final. The second and third-placed sides meet in an eliminator semi-final to determine the other finalist.

Oval Invincibles hold the record for the most titles, having won three times in 2021, 2022, and 2024. London Spirit claimed the championship in 2024, while Northern Superchargers secured the most recent victory in 2025. The competition operates without promotion or relegation, maintaining its status as a closed league of established entities.
