Maycon de Andrade Barberan

Maycon came through Corinthians' academy after starting out at Portuguesa, and it was there, in the 2015 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, that he first made his name, scoring the winning goal as the club's youth side lifted the title. He made his senior debut for Corinthians in 2016 and helped the club to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A title in 2017, before a bigger move arrived.

In July 2018, Shakhtar Donetsk signed him from Corinthians for €6.6 million. He won the Ukrainian Premier League in 2018–19 and 2019–20, the Ukrainian Cup in 2018–19 and the Ukrainian Super Cup in 2021. His time at the club ended abruptly in early 2022, when the war in Ukraine forced him to leave and return to Corinthians on loan.

At international level, Maycon represented Brazil at under-20 level, scoring once in seven caps and featuring at the 2017 South American U-20 Championship. He later added five caps for the under-23s and was named in the preliminary squad for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He has not been capped by the senior national team.

In January 2026 he moved to Atlético Mineiro on a free transfer, agreeing a three-year contract, with Shakhtar Donetsk retaining half of his economic rights as part of the deal.
