Any meeting with Wisła Kraków carries a name of its own in this city, Święta Wojna, and Cracovia's handball section has played its share of them. On the women's side, the club has had spells worth remembering by that measure.

The men's side, once part of the same section, no longer competes at senior level, leaving the women's team to carry the handball name forward; it now plays in the second-tier I Liga. The section itself dates to 1926, two decades after the wider Cracovia club took shape, and its players wear the same white and red stripes that gave the whole club its nickname, Pasy.

Matches are played at Hala 100-lecia KS Cracovia 1906, a hall holding 800 people.
