Two seasons into their return to men's handball, Silvant Elbląg have already earned a second promotion. In April 2025, with two rounds still to play, a 30:25 win over SMS ZPRP Kwidzyn I sealed the club's move up to the I Liga, the second tier of the Polish game.

The senior men's team had gone almost a decade without competitive handball before it was brought back for the 2023/2024 season, entering the II Liga and finishing third in its first year back. A second season in the division followed in 2024/2025, and it was that campaign which ended with promotion.

The team belongs to UKS Silvant Kajak Elbląg, a student sports club founded on 13 February 2019 and built primarily around kayaking; handball runs as one section within it. Matches are played at Hala MOS on ulica gen. Tadeusza Kościuszki, a 500-seat arena that has hosted opponents such as SPR Wybrzeże Gdańsk and BSMS Bartoszyce.
