Alagoano U20 (Brazil) 2025/26

Campeonato Alagoano Sub-20 is the official state youth football competition for players under 20 years old in the state of Alagoas, Brazil. Organized by the Federação Alagoana de Futebol (FAF), it serves as a primary youth category within the state's official football pyramid, alongside Sub-17 and Sub-13 tournaments. The tournament functions as a key qualifier for national youth competitions, specifically the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior (Copinha) and the Copa do Nordeste Sub-20.

In 2025, the FAF restructured the competition into two divisions: Série A1 as the top tier and Série A2 as the second tier. This restructuring formalized promotion and relegation, allowing the bottom four teams from Série A1 to drop to Série A2, while the top four teams from Série A2 move up for the following season. The current Série A1 season features 16 clubs divided into two groups of eight. The group stage follows a double round-robin format, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage. The knockout phase includes Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Final, which are typically played in a two-legged format with tie-breakers determined by aggregate score or penalty shootouts.

Historically, the competition has seen various winner trends. CSA (Centro Sportivo Alagoano) won titles in 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2023, while CRB (Clube de Regatas Brasil) secured victories in 2016, 2020, and 2024. ASA won the recorded titles in 2011 and 2015, and Jaciobá claimed the championship in 2019. This competition operates distinct from the senior Campeonato Alagoano, focusing exclusively on player development and qualification for national youth cups.
