Acaassuso lose away to San Telmo in Primera Nacional
San Telmo claimed a 2-1 victory over Acaassuso in the Primera Nacional regular season on Wednesday. The result leaves the visitors one point ahead of their hosts in the table after both sides have played 27 matches.
L. Romero gave San Telmo the lead with a penalty in the 65th minute before I. Larthirigoyen pulled one back for Acaassuso in the 82nd. I. Pardo restored the visitors' advantage just two minutes later, and the decision was overturned after a brief review.
There were plenty of cards in the second half. B. Dordoni, L. Pollacchi, D. De Stefano, R. Uriburu, L. Romero, V. Serrano, F. Senn and I. Pardo all received yellow cards, with Romero booked twice in quick succession.
San Telmo made three changes in the 72nd minute, bringing on G. Paredes, L. Romero and T. Rodriguez. Acaassuso responded with substitutions for K. Dubini, J. Porto and M. Batallini, while F. Baez and A. Hermoso came on for the hosts.
Acaassuso remain 18th with 27 points, two points behind San Telmo who sit 16th. The hosts have lost three of their last five matches, while the visitors have won two and drawn one in that period.
