Banga held on to beat Dzūkija Telšiai 2:0 in the A-Liga regular season on Saturday. The hosts moved clear of their visitors in fifth place after the final whistle. Dzūkija refused to go away but could not find a way past the home defence.

D. Malzinskas opened the scoring in the 47th minute after Cadu came on for Banga. The goal gave the home side confidence and they controlled the tempo. A.
