Lokomotiv secured a 2-1 victory over Dynamo Samarkand in the Super League Regular Season on 7 August 2026. The hosts took control early through J. Jumaboev's eighth-minute opener, then added a second just before halftime courtesy of D. Turopov. Dynamo Samarkand pulled one back through T. Abdukholikov in the thirty-fourth minute, but Lokomotiv held on to extend their winning run.
The match swung between periods of pressure and relief. Lokomotiv pinned the visitors back for much of the opening half, winning five corners to Dynamo Samarkand's three. The hosts switched off at a set piece just before the interval, allowing Abdukholikov to find space and level the score.
