Nõmme United II took all three points from Nõmme Kalju II in the Esiliiga A on Sunday, winning 3-2 in a match that settled the 30th round. The visitors held their nerve after a first half where T. Evans had already doubled his tally before the break. By then the game had found its rhythm, and United were the side controlling it.
Evans opened the scoring in the 17th minute and added a second in the 42nd, giving Kalju II's defence a problem it never quite solved. Jabir pulled one back for the hosts in the 52nd, and Tomingas had levelled things by the 54th. That was when the match truly opened up, and neither side could find a way through.
The turning point came in the 77th minute when B. Chisala stepped up for a penalty and missed, a moment that let United breathe again. Kiisel buried the visitors' third goal in the 88th minute, and Kalju II had nothing left to offer.

We had backed the hosts with 41 per cent confidence, but the match went another way. Evans' double before the break broke the prediction, and Chisala's miss in the 77th minute sealed it. To be fair, United had been the steadier side all afternoon.
