Pakhtakor and Bukhoro played out a 2:2 draw in the Superliga's Regular Season round 16 on Wednesday evening. The result leaves the hosts second in the table with 46 points from 21 games, while Bukhoro remain fourth with 34 from 20 matches.
Saitov gave Pakhtakor the lead after sixteen minutes and Chinedu equalised for the visitors twenty-eight minutes in. Khayrullaev picked up a yellow card for the hosts just before half-time, then Yuldoshev came on for Bukhoro at the restart. Joraboev replaced another home player fifty-six minutes in as the match opened up.
Kacharava and Todorov both received yellow cards in the second half, and Bukhoro brought Chinedu off for Ubaydullaev sixty-nine minutes in. The hosts completed sixty-seven percent of their shots on target against fifty-five percent for the visitors, though both sides missed two shots off target. Possession sat at fifty-six percent for Pakhtakor and forty-four for Bukhoro.
By then the points were shared, which keeps Pakhtakor two places above Bukhoro in the standings. The hosts have played one more game and carry a twelve-point advantage, though Bukhoro still have a match in hand.
