PKKU Edge Past ROPS Rovaniemi in Ykkönen Group Stage Clash
PKKU secured a 3-1 victory over ROPS Rovaniemi in the Group Stage of Ykkönen on Saturday evening. The home side took control early, with F. Heiserholt opening the scoring in the sixth minute before O. Niemi doubled the lead just before halftime. ROPS pulled one back through an own goal in the twenty-first minute, but A. Deng's late strike sealed the three points for the hosts.
The opening twenty minutes dictated the tempo of what followed. Heiserholt's opener came from sustained pressure, and Niemi's goal at eighteen minutes left ROPS chasing the game. By then, PKKU had already established the pattern they would maintain — patient build-up, sharp finishing.
