Iliman Ndiaye eyed as wide reinforcement by Manchester City
City are weighing a move for Everton's Iliman Ndiaye to boost their wide options, with Doku injured and Semenyo their only fit out-and-out winger.
City's only recognised wingers at present are Antoine Semenyo and Jeremy Doku, and Doku is currently out with a calf injury. Phil Foden and Grealish can play wide but tend to drift inside. Ndiaye would arrive with cover in mind, but few expect him to accept a place on the bench.
If the move goes through, it would hand Maresca a dribbler suited to his short-passing system just as City look to close the gap on champions Arsenal, whose squad depth across four competitions last season set the standard City are chasing.
