Manchester City beat Manchester United in the derby at Old Trafford in round four of the Premier League, with Pep Guardiola's side underlining how seriously they are taking the new campaign. Ruben Amorim's United could not find an answer.

Liverpool dropped more points at Anfield, this time against Fulham. It is the second setback in a short spell for Arne Slot, who only last week collected his first win as Liverpool manager, a 2-0 victory over Ipswich built on a quick-fire double from Mohamed Salah.

Chelsea also let points slip. Enzo Maresca's team went into the game with Hull City looking to build on a promising start to the season, but the match proved far harder than expected, and familiar problems in the new-look Chelsea side surfaced again.

Arsenal kept winning.
