Mbappé Ordered to Pay PSG 60,000 Euros

A Paris appeals court ordered Kylian Mbappé to compensate PSG €60,000 over funds seized from the club, closing a bitter dispute over unpaid bonuses.

Kylian Mbappé has been ordered to pay Paris Saint-Germain 60,000 euros, after the Paris Court of Appeal ruled against him in the long-running dispute over unpaid bonuses.

According to L'Equipe, the sum relates to money frozen at the club after Mbappé had money seized from PSG following his own legal action. The forward had taken the club to court demanding 60 million euros in bonuses and incentives that he said PSG refused to pay him.

His lawyers sought roughly 263 million euros in damages. The court, however, confined its ruling to the outstanding money still to be settled between player and club.

A Paris court found in December 2025 that PSG did owe Mbappé money, but the judge also upheld a counterclaim from the club, which argued the seizure of such a large sum had caused it genuine difficulties. The Court of Appeal has now ordered Mbappé to compensate PSG for that with the 60,000-euro payment.

PSG's separate claim for moral and reputational damage was rejected by the judges.
