A. Selmani

Astrit Selmani began his career at Malmö FF's academy before a cruciate ligament injury at the age of 12 forced him out and into Kulladals FF, and his senior career began not in Allsvenskan but at BK Olympic, where he scored 14 goals in 37 appearances and won the Division 3 championship for Södra Götaland in 2015.

The breakthrough came at Varbergs BoIS. Across Superettan and Allsvenskan he scored 30 goals in 51 appearances, and in 2020 he finished as the second-highest scorer in Allsvenskan with 15 goals. That form took him to Hammarby IF in December 2020 for 7–8 million SEK, a club-record fee at the time. He repaid it in his first season, scoring the decisive penalty as Hammarby won the Svenska Cupen final against BK Häcken, and went on to make 39 appearances and score 11 goals for the club.

In July 2022, Hapoel Be'er Sheva paid around 10 million SEK for him, and loan spells followed at Midtjylland and IFK Göteborg. He then moved to Dinamo București, where he scored 15 goals in 46 appearances in Liga I, before joining China League One club Shaanxi Union in 2025.

Selmani has also represented Kosovo at international level, scoring his only goal for the national team against Burkina Faso in March 2022.
