About the player
The name changed in 2023, from Saidi to Boudah — his mother's surname. When he arrived on loan in 2024, it did not take long: by October he had scored six goals.
Boudah came through Norrby IF before moving on to Degerfors IF and then Hammarby IF. In the summer of 2024, Hammarby sent him abroad, to the Japanese club Albirex Niigata, in a deal reported to be worth around seven million kronor. He made an immediate impact there too, scoring seven goals in 18 appearances during his first season.
The loan to Västerås SK, taken up in the same year, gave him a role as a focal point up front. His return to Albirex Niigata in 2025 came with a different number, 65, as he resumed his career in Japan.
The goals in Sweden and Japan tell that story on their own, without need of embellishment.
