Adam Nicholas Senior

Adam Senior came through Bolton Wanderers' academy from the age of five, signing his first professional contract with the club in May 2020. Breaking into regular first-team football proved difficult at Bolton, where he made just four senior appearances across four seasons, and a string of loan moves shaped much of his early career instead. He went out to Ashton United, York City, Chorley and AFC Telford United in turn before a loan spell at FC Halifax Town in January 2023 gave him a sustained run in the side, with 20 appearances in the second half of that season.

That loan led to a permanent move: Senior signed for Halifax Town on a two-year deal that July. He became a regular fixture there, going on to make 88 appearances and scoring nine goals from defence, a productive return for a player learning his trade outside the academy system that raised him.

In May 2025 he joined Barnet for the 2025–26 season. He has settled quickly into the side, and by August 2026 had made 47 appearances for the club, adding seven goals along the way.
